The Road Train departs from Leinster House and The National Gallery on Merrion Square and the tour consists of a 1 hour journey around Dublin City Centre and includes some of Dublin’s most historic and finest sights.
The Dublin Road Train Tour will take you along the Georgian Mile, Government Buildings, The National Gallery, The Guinness Storehouse and many more fine City Centre attractions and landmarks. You can stop at the Guinness Storehouse and take a tour to discover exactly what is behind the making of the popular Irish Stout and at the end of your tour around the building pour yourself your own pint and relax in the Gravity Bar. (Dublin Road Train Tour Ticket does not include entry to the Guinness Storehouse) When you are done you can join the next Train Tour that comes along and continue on your journey.
The Road Train will also bring you through the Viking Settlement of Dublin, past Christchurch Cathedral, down the Quays along the River Liffey and up to O’Connell Bridge, past the Financial Centre and then onto Dublin’s Pearse Street Station – which is the 1st ever urban Train Station in the World!!
During your journey Irish songs and music will be played along the way in-between commentaries. If you are travelling with a group the Road Train can provide a private tour for you to make your experience more unique.
