What time is guest check-in?

You may check-in at 3.00pm, although you may also like to leave your luggage at the Castle Hotel while you explore Dublin.

What is the latest time I can check-in?

Reception is open 24/7 but please let our team on reception know if you’ll be arriving after 10pm. Our main entrance door may be locked for security reasons after this time but ring the bell and our night porter will welcome you.

What is the latest time I can check-out of the Castle Hotel in Dublin?

Check-out is by 12 noon on your departure date. We are happy to store any luggage for you if you’d like to check out before 12.

How late is the hotel open?

Our reception is open 24 hours.

Do you have internet?

Yes, complimentary Wi-Fi is available in all bedrooms and public areas. You’ll receive the code at check-in.

Does the Castle Hotel have an Elevator?

Yes, we have two elevators. Please let us know at booking if you need a room close to one.

Is there somewhere we can store our luggage if we arrive before check-in time?

Yes, we have a luggage room for early arrivals and late departures.

Yes, secure parking is available and costs €15 per day.

Many attractions are within walking distance. Local buses and hop-on/hop-off buses stop nearby.

You can take a bus, coach, taxi, or rent a car.

It guarantees that funds are available for your stay and any charges incurred.

When does the pre-authorisation get released?

It depends on your card issuer. It may take 3–15 working days depending on credit or debit card and your bank's policy.

How can I cancel or adjust my reservation?

If booked through an Online Travel Agent (e.g., Booking.com), contact them directly. If booked directly with us, contact our reservations team at +353-1-8746949 or info@castle-hotel.ie.

Do you accept cash?

Yes, in the bar and restaurant. However, we appreciate cashless transactions.



Breakfast and Dining

Do you serve breakfast?

Yes, all rooms include Full Irish, Vegetarian, or Continental breakfast.

What time is breakfast served?

Continental: from 7am; Hot breakfast: 7:30–10:30am daily.

Can I have breakfast with early checkout?

Yes, you can request a takeaway breakfast (muffin, fruit, juice) the night before.

Do you have outdoor dining?

Yes, in our covered garden area.
