Journey through 320 years of history with a guided tour of The Church!
On this History Tour, you will be guided through an 18th century architectural gem, which has served the local community in Dublin for over 300 years before its conversion to a Café Bar.
This incredibly well-preserved church building has a fascinating social history, with many notable historic figures associated with it. From opening as the first galleried church in Dublin, to the baptism of writer Seán O'Casey, the marriage of Arthur Guinness in 1761, George Frideric Handel practising Messiah on the Renatus Harris Organ, and John Wesley preaching his first sermon in Ireland here. Their passionate guides will bring the stories right up to modern times and the building’s conversion into The Church Café Bar.
