Dublin’s city parks and surrounding mountains are the perfect place to enjoy views from a different perspective.

There are a number of stables around the Dublin area which are all easy to reach by car or bus, with horse riding experiences suitable for all levels. Prices can vary but the prices would average around €30 per hour with stables offering guided trail riding.

Phoenix Park (Ashtown Stables)

These stables are the closet stables to the city centre. Lessons start at €50 for an adult & €35 for child. Children must be of 8 years and over to partake in these lessons.

Coolmine Equestrian (Saggart, just off N7)

This equestrian centre is only 20-minute drive from the city centre. As the centre is in close proximity to the Dublin Mountains, great views can be seen at this location of Dublin on many of the riding treks that are available. Prices are €30 per adult and €25 per child for one hour. Children are welcome from 5 years old.

Broadmeadow Equestrian Centre.

This centre is located 15 minutes from Dublin Airport & 25minutes from the city centre. Prices are €30 per adult & €25 per child for one hour. Children must be 6 years and over to ride here.

The Paddocks Riding Centre

Located in Sandyford, high in the Dublin Mountains and just a 25 minute drove from the city centre.  Prices are €35 per Adult and €25 per child per hour. Children are welcome from 3 years old.
