Elbow is a British alternative rock band. The band was formed in 1997 in Bury, Greater Manchester, England. The members of Elbow are Guy Garvey (vocals, guitar), Mark Potter (guitar, backing vocals), Craig Potter (keyboards, piano, backing vocals), Pete Turner (bass guitar, backing vocals), and Alex Reeves (drums).
Elbow gained critical acclaim and commercial success with their albums, and they are known for their emotive and atmospheric sound, often characterized by Garvey's distinctive and heartfelt vocals.
