Rainforest Adventure Golf

A fantastic activity for a rainy day! Who doesn’t like a round of mini golf to pass the time or keep the family busy for a couple of hours? The Rainforest Adventure Golf is a massive indoor purpose built mini golf course located in Dundrum Town Centre.

All ages and ability can take part in this fun activity, with two South American themed 18 hole courses in a rainforest setting. They are aptly named “Aztec” and “Mayan” the latter of which is also wheelchair friendly. There is a great educational pack with information on rainforests and South American cultures that has been developed to add learning to fun for children. The centre is an avid supporter of the Rainforest Alliance, which promotes environmental, social and economic sustainability and they use every opportunity to promote their good work throughout the experience.

Both courses are set in lush tropical foliage with a backdrop of tribal statues and carvings. The lifelike jungle sounds and special effect animatronics keep the children entertained and through every turn there is something new to discover! Be aware, competition between families is known to happen! Will you be good enough to get through both courses and defeat the mythical 19th hole of the Jaguar Temple?

To round off the experience there is the Canopy Café to enjoy something to eat or drink or why not pick up a souvenir in their gift shop to remember the day! They also boast the only Ben & Jerrys Ice cream stand outside a cinema in the Republic of Ireland!

Groups and birthday parties are regularly catered for but pre-booking is essential.
