FIFA World Cup Qualification Matches
The 2014 FIFA World Cup is to be the 20th FIFA World Cup, an international association football tournament that is scheduled to take place in Brazil from 12 June to 13 July 2014.
The 2014 FIFA World Cup qualification UEFA Group C is a UEFA qualifying group for the 2014 FIFA World Cup. The group comprises Germany, Sweden, Republic of Ireland, Austria, Faroe Islands and Kazakhstan.
The group winners will qualify directly for the 2014 FIFA World Cup. Among the nine group runners-up, the eight best runners-up (determined by records against the first-, third-, fourth- and fifth-placed teams only for balance between different groups) will advance to the play-offs, where they will be drawn into four home-and-away ties to determine the other four qualifiers.
The World Cup Qualifier games fixtures in 2013 at the Aviva Stadium Dublin are as follows:
Tuesday March 26th – Republic of Ireland V Austria
Friday June 7th – Republic of Ireland V Faroe Islands
Friday September 6th – Republic of Ireland V Sweden
Tuesday October 15th – Republic of Ireland V Kazakhstan
