British Maternal and Fetal Medicine Society 16th Annual Conference
25th - 26th April 2013 in the Convention Centre Dublin
Dublin's Fair City is proud to play host to the 16th Annual Conference of the British Maternal and Fetal Medicine Society. They will be convening at 8.00am on the 25th April, and once registration is over, the opening procession lead by the honourable president of the society, Professor Mark Kilby, will begin. This year's proceedings are due to be the best yet with indepth Lectures and Symposiums being held throughout both days. They are due to cover a number of topics this year which will prove to be diverse and thought-provoking. There will be multiple exhibitions, poster and abstract viewings and poster platform sessions. There will then be an awards ceremony for them on the Friday evening. Also the much anticipated Annual General Meeting is due to be held in the Thursday evening @ 4pm.
The Conference will be broken up into 4 sessions this year, each filled with extensive lectures and addresses from the Keynote Speakers. The Sessions will be broken up by tea and lunch breaks and some of the highlights will include daily lunch-time symposiums and the elegant Society Dinner and Reception being held on the Thursday evening at the Mansion House in South Dublin City Centre.
The conference organisers have promised this year that due to the incredible positive feedback from last year, they will expand on the platform poster sessions, increase the viewing time for the oral and poster presentations and allow plenty of opportunity for networking and communication between attendees.
All in all, it promises to be an enjoyable experience for all who attend.
