Cirque du Soleil - Dralion

From 28th May to 1st June, Cirque du Soleil - Dralion will take place at the O2 Dublin. The group started off in 1984 as a group of 20 street performers, now in the year 2014 they are a huge Quebec-based organisation that provides high quality artistic entertainment.
They have over 1,300 performing artists from upto 50 different counties and over 5,000 employees. During their career over the years they have performed to over 100 million people and have had audiences in more than 300 cities in over 40 countries in 6 continents.
The Director for this show is, Dralion Artistic Director, Mark Shaub and this show brings over 3000 year old tadition chinese acrobatic arts, that draws its inspiration from Eastern philosophy with their multidisciplinary approach.
The name of the show is 'Dralion', which is pronounced Dra-lee-on and it taken form its 2 emblematic creatures: the dragon - symbolizing the East and the Lion - symbolizing the West.
The 4 elements in Dralion the govern the natural order is represented by its own evocative colour, air is blue, water is green, fire is red and earth is ochre. One balance is achieved in the world of Dralion, cultures blend and man and nature are one.
