Guinness Autumn Series 2012

The IRFU have announced that the Guinness’s Autumn Series is taking place at the Aviva Stadium in November.

Ireland will play two international games against Argentina and South Africa, both teams will be battle hardened due to there participation in the southern hemisphere Rugby Championships which is the new format of the Tri Nations, this will be Argentina’s first time participating in the challenging competition.

South Africa was the first visitor to the Aviva Stadium when it had been newly built in November 2010 and they will now again open the Rugby season when they travel to the northern hemisphere guided by their new coach Heynekey Meyer.

 Ireland last played against Argentina the same November in sub-zero temperatures, with Ireland winning the game at 29-9

Ireland v Argentina,  Aviva Stadium, Saturday 24th November - Kick off 2:00
