Irish Congress of Anaesthesia Annual Meeting 2014
on the 16th and 17th of May at the Convention Centre Dublin
Ireland is very proud to host the Irish Congress of Anaesthesia Annual Meeting at the Convention Centre Dublin on the 16th and 17th of May 2014.
This event will be filled with interesting speeches held by speakers from all over Europe. On day one topics include: Paediatric Surgery outside the Tertiary Hospitals; Crisis or Crossroads?, Patient Safety, The future of the intensive care doctor, IPain session child, adult and science – regional anaesthesia and acute pain substance, abuse and anaesthesia providers – an occupational hazard as well as lots of other interesting sessions. Speakers include Dr Bill Casey, Dr Alf Nicholson, Dr Emmet Andrews from Cork, Alain Delbois, Prof Tony Dickinson and many more. Moreover delegates will have the chance to attend a workshop. The second day of this event is also filled with interesting sessions. Topics include: Ethics session – health rationing, pain session: Child, adult and science – regional anaesthesia and acute pain, most important papers published in the last five years and many more. Speakers include: Dr Alain Delbois, Dr Glyn Williams and Prof Anthony Dickensen.
