Science Gallery

The Science Gallery is located at Trinity College. Since opening in 2008. over one million people have visited the gallery making it one of the top free cultural attractions in Ireland.

Professor Mike Coey and his colleagues at Trinity Research centre launched the gallery on two floors of the Naughton Institute.  It holds many exhibitions to promote public awareness of the relationship between science and art and their contribution to our world making us question our surroundings.

 The science Gallery doesn’t have a permanent collection but has a variety of exhibitions throughout the year so you will never see the same thing twice. Exhibition consists of talks, workshops and General debate session giving each person a chance to get involved.

 

 Opening Times/ Prices

The Science Gallery ispen to the public from Tuesday to Sunday but opening times vary depending on the exhibition and the events taking place.


Admission:

Admission is generally Free, however some events might have a small charge and members get discounts.

 The Naughton institute, Pearse Street, Trinity College Dublin 2

 

Getting There:

 The Science Gallery is located approximately 15 min walk from the Castle Hotel or take the number 10 bus from outside the hotel and it will drop you off right outside Trinity College.
