Franco-Irish Literary Festival 2014

Taking place in Dublin City Centre at Dublin Castle on 4th, 5th & 6th April 2014

The Franco-Irish Literary Festival 2014 will take place throughout Dublin City Centre at Dublin Castle in George's Hall on 4th, 5th & 6th April 2014. The Festival is now a significant date in Dublin's annual literary calendar 'The Franco-Irish Literary Festival'.

This year will mark the 15th Anniversary edition and the festival continues the tradition that led to Dublin's nomination of  a UNESCO City of Literature in Dublin.

The intention of the festival is to invite Irish and French writers together and it is organised by the Alliance Francaise Dublin and the Cultural and Scientific Service of the French Embassy.

The Festival has been ongoing since the year 2000 and its goal is to develop the strength of the links between Ireland and France and to deepen and expand the long-standing friendships which exist between Ireland, France and other Fresch Speaking countries.

Each year the Festival gets bigger and better.  The festival also offers its Irish audiences the opportunity to discover French writers.

All events are open to the public to attend and all events are free.
