The Federation of European Societies of Plant Biology (FESPB) 2014 Congress

from the 22nd of June until the 26th at the Convention Centre Dublin

The Convention Centre Dublin is proud to announce that the Federation of European Societies of Plant Biology (FESPB) 2014 Congress will be held in their properties from the 22nd of June 2014 until the 26th of June. The FESPB was founded in 1978 and it is today Europe’s largest and one of the most important society of Plant Scientists. The main goals of the FESPB are to advance research, education in general and exchanging information about plant biologists worldwide. Furthermore the FESPB supports the publication of the results of research through their famous international journals like the "Journal of Experimental Botany". The Congress will take place for 4 days and topics include: Land use and Greenhouse Gases, Organelle Biology, Plant Development, Plant Metabolism und Synthetic Biology, Photosynthesis and many more. The speakers who will attend this congress are from all over the world and will guarantee interesting sessions. There will be for example David Beerling from Sheffield, John Mundy from Denmark, Jim Whelan from Perth and many more.
