The 16th Annual European Congress of the International Society for Pharmacoeconomics and Outcomes Research (ISPOR)
on the 2nd and 3rd of November in the Convention Centre Dublin
Ireland is very proud to host the 16th Annual European Congress of the International Society for Pharmacoeconomics and Outcomes Research (ISPOR) from the 2nd until the 6th of November at the Convention Centre in Dublin. The ISPOR was founded 1995 and is a public organization for educational and scientific purposes, as defined by the United States Internal Revenues Service. It is also a non-profit research organization under the European Commission 7th Framework Programme. The congress is taking place for two days and is filled with many plenary sessions. On the first day the attendees are going to be introduced to the health economics/pharmacoeconomic evaluations, the database analysis in observational studies of the treatment effects as well as modelling. Courses on this day are going to be about statistical methods of pharmacoeconomic and outcomes research, elements of pharmaceutical/biotech pricing and many more. On day two courses are going to be held about: Reimbursement systems in Europe, Bayesian methods in economic evaluation, network meta-analysis in relative and many more. The first two days are pre-congress courses. The main congress will start on the third day. Over the next three days interesting sessions about health economics and outcomes are going to be held and the attendees will always be involved in the discussions.
