13 th International AMD and Retina Congress
from the 25th of October until the 26th of October
Ireland is proud and very excited to welcome the 13th International AMD and Retina Congress to Dublin city. The congress will be held for two days at the Convention Centre Dublin. The congress is filled with seven sessions in total. On day one the congress starts off with a welcome ceremony for all attendees in the morning. The first session will be about Visual Impairment and Blindness and will be held for an hour. The topic of the second meeting is Diabetic Macular Edema and Diabetic Retinopathy followed by three sessions which include: The AMD Long-Term Management, Safety and Costs, Bevacizumab – Ranibizumab – Aflibercept Face to Face and New Therapies. In between these meetings you will be invited to a coffee as well as lunch-break. The chairman of this congress is Francesco Bandello from Italy and Co-Chairs are Neil Bressler from the United States and Marie Hickey from Ireland. On the second day there will be held two sessions. The topics are Disorders of the Vitreo-Macular Interface and Retinal Vein Occlusion. At the end of each session the panel’s point of view is been asked for as well. The congress is going to end at the 26th of October around 1pm.
