Jools Holland and his Rhythm & Blues Orchestra

on the 5th of October at the Convention Centre Dublin

 The Convention Centre is proud to host the concert of Jools Holland and his Rhythm and Orchestra on the 5th of October this year. Jools Holland was born in London as Julian Miles Holland. He is a famous pianist, bandleader and TV presenter. In 1974 Jules was founder member of the Band Squeeze as a keyboarder. He was a member for six years. But already 1978 he started his solo career with his EP Boogie Woogie. In 1987 his tour band The Rhythm and Blues Orchestra was found. Sometimes this band was supported by Sam Brown and Ruby Turner two famous singers. Jools Holland did play with famous musicians so far like Peter Gabriel, Tom Jones, Sugababes, Eric Clapton, Pearl Jam, Paolo Nutini and more. His Rhythm and Blues Orchestra consists of pianist, organist, drummer, guitar, bass guitar, two tenor saxophones, two alto saxophones, baritone saxophone, the trumpets, four trombones and three female vocals. The concert at the Convention Centre Dublin is part of an annual tour that will see the group bring their sound to over 50 cities and towns during 2013. Tickets are priced at 49.50€ including booking fee.
