Temple Bar Trad Fest

January 22nd to 26th 2014 in Dublin's Temple Bar

The Temple Bar Trad Fest has been confirmed from the 22nd to 26th January 2014. The event is to celebrate traditional music and culture from some of Ireland’s largest performers. The festival includes over 20 free events. Artists from all over Europe will perform at some of Dublin’s most famous venues such as City Hall, St Patricks Cathedral, St. Michan’s Church and the Button Factory.

The Headline acts in the Trad Fest will be Paul Brady, Frances Black and Eleanor McEvoy and also a concert “In Celebration of Frankie Kennedy: His life and Music. The family programme brings face painting, street performers, mobile farms, outdoor stages and lots more on the streets of Temple Bar; this is the ultimate music festival as it has won best traditional music festival in the 2008 and 2009 Festival Awards. The Trad Fest is also to showcase upcoming bands to give them the opportunity to partake in headline concerts.

The Trad fest is a great day out for everyone to enjoy.
