Stravinsky Evening

At the Abbey Theatre from May 14th & 15th 2013

Celebrating the 100th Anniversary of Rite of Spring which was the first infamous performance by the Ballets Russes, the Stravinsky Evening, 'Hunt'  is presented by the Dublin Dance Festival and is a heart-stopping solo set.

Saarinen's Petrushka is a love triange played out with all the wit of a silent movie comedy  and with all the colour of the fairground added in. On this fantastic show 2 classical accorsionists play the score live on stage in a wonderful version of Stravinsky's ballet.

The set is not suitable for those affected by strong strobe lighting effects.
