Taking place at the Bord Gais Energy Theatre from March 26th to April 26th 2014
From March 26th to April 26th 2014 audiences can experience the National Theatre's Award-winning production of War Horse. The show has already been seen by over 2.4million people and continues to reach our stages to perform the powerful story of a young boy named Albert and his beloved horse, Joey.
Joey gets sold in a local market to a rich man and then ends up serving both sides of the war and ends up landing in no man's land while Albert who is not old enough to join in the army takes on a mission to find his horse and bring him home. This show is a remarkable tale of friendship, loyalty and courage. This may bring a tear to your eye.
The show has won 6 Tony Awards, including Best Play and is always a sell out show! It is based on a novel by Michael Morpurgo and was adapted by Nick Stafford.
Warhorse features ground breaking pupperty work by South Africa's Handspring Puppet Company.
Tickets are priced from 20.00 Euro for this show.
