Dublin Marathon

October 28th starting from Merrion Square

The Dublin Marathon will take place for the 34th year in a row on the October Bank Holiday Weekend in 2013. The run will start off from Merrion Square and make its way through Georgian Dublin and through Dublin's Historic Streets, then  into and through Europe largest Park, the Phoenix Park.

The Dublin Marathon has been known as the 'Friendly Marathon' as overseas runners gave feedback on the Irish support and crowds over the years!

Thousands of people turn up for the event and runners come from overseas from the UK and European Countries, the number of runners mount upto over 14,000 and many of whom return each year for the event.

Entry must be made by October 1st at 5pm, entry can be made online.
