New Year's Eve: The BIG Bang Fireworks Display over Saint Stephen's Green

Taking place on New Years Eve at Saint Stephen's Green from 8pm

This Celebration of New Years Eve in Dublin City Centre is the starting of the Gathering Ireland 2013. The BIG Bang Fireworks display will turn the dark Winters Sky into a blaze of bright big colours in explosive style all over Dublin City Centre as the Countdown begins for New Years Eve.

The event is free and families are welcome to join in the crowds and view the fine art that will take over the sky, the atmosphere will be static and fun can be had as Music & Street Theare will keep the crowds entertained.

The 4 streets around Saint Stephen's Green will be closed so there will be plenty of room for all the thousands of people who are expected to turn up for this great event. This is the first time that a fireworks display has taken place in Saint Stephen's Green on New Year's Eve. Fireworks were invented by the Chinese culture back in the 7th Century in which they used to celebrate any special occasions.

Dublin is planning to crack the ancient art of Fireworks by hosting the most spectacular FREE Fireworks display ever to be seen in Dublin City Centre!! An event you and your family would thoroughly enjoy!!
