World Congress of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences 2013

31st August - 5th September 2013 in the Convention Centre, Dublin

International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP) and the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland are proudly hosting the World Congress of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences in Dublin. They are particularly geared towards pursuing the agenda and topics brought about in last year's monumental assembly.

The theme for this year is mostly centered around the growing complexity of patient care. The growing diversity in technologies, treatment methods and medicines that are now available to patients mean that their care is becoming more and more complicated. This can be daunting for the patient and also the care giver. The society are constantly trying to find innovative ways of alleviating these pressures and comfortably easing both parties into the new and modern procedures.

This year's convention will be jam packed with 6 plenary sessions entitled;

Why are patients complex?

What are the needs of complex patients?

What are we doing to meet the needs of complex patients?

What are emerging strategies for treating complex patients?

Pharmacy Education - Creating the path to managing complex patients.

Cultivating the unexplored fields of complexity.

Each of these sessions and topics will be explored in depth with various discussions, symposiums and interactive debates. Delegates and professionals from all over the world will be offering their valuable knowledge and advice with one another all for to alleviate the patient's understanding and acceptance of the newest innovations in the growing pharmaceutical sector.
