5th May - 11th June, Abbey The...
“I have done the state so service; they know’t. No more of that”

Internationally acclaimed Joe Dowling has come back to the Abbey Theatre for another tale of jealousy and revenge.

Othello’s numerous victories are no longer counted; many battles were won by the powerful man. Disguise as a trustworthy character, Iago is putting a Machiavellian plan in action so that Othello loses the control. Are there any ethical limits for these men and their thirst of power?

On the 400th anniversary of Shakespeare’s death, this brilliant state of the nation play is a must see. It features Peter Macon as Othello.

The Abbey theatre is located on the heart of Dublin, only 1 minute off Grafton Street. Two bus line - 16/83, running through O’Connell Street and bachelors Walk - can bring you up to George Street which is 2 minute walk from the theatre. The bus stops are very close by to the Castle Hotel.
