The 50 Plus Expo, (formerly The Over 50’s Show) is Ireland’s only dedicated national consumer event for older people. Launched in 1999 to coincide with the International Year Of Older Persons – the event is now run all over Ireland with 30,000 people and 400 exhibitors attending all our events in 2016
The 50 Plus Expo is designed to be an informative, educational and upbeat event for the 1.2 million people who are over 50 in Ireland. It’s ideal for people who are about to retire or already have and want to take up a new hobby or pastime, want to learn about their rights and entitlements, the financial implications of retirement and most importantly, keeping themselves mentally and physically active in their latter years.

RDS Visual Art Awards Exh...

25th - 30th October 2017
The RDS Visual Art Awards provides a platform for graduating artists as they transition from student into early professional career. A team of independent curators view the end of year degree shows in selected colleges around the country. They will longlist artists, who will be invited to apply online for the 2017 RDS Visual Art Awards.
A panel of five judges nominated by the RDS, RHA, IMMA and National Gallery of Ireland, will select artists from these applications for inclusion in this curated exhibition in the RDS Concert Hall which will take place October 25-30 2017. Nick Miller will be curating the Exhibition in 2017.
This event will be held daily in the RDS Arena from 10 am until 6pm

The Gold Medal is awarded each year to a business person who has made a distinguished contribution to Irish or international business and has demonstrated exceptional achievement in his or her business performance.
Join in celebrating and recognising Moya's achievements at a lunch held in her honour on Wednesday, December 13 in the RDS Concert Hall.

It's a Wonderful Life is a 1946 American Christmas fantasy comedy-drama film produced and directed by Frank Capra. The film is considered one of the most loved films in American cinema and has become traditional viewing during the Christmas season.
The film stars James Stewart as George Bailey, a man who has given up his dreams in order to help others and whose imminent suicide on Christmas Eve brings about the intervention of his guardian angel, Clarence Odbody (Henry Travers). Clarence shows George all the lives he has touched and how different life in his community of Bedford Falls would be had he never been born.
