Shawn Mendes - Illuminat...

Sean Mendes makes his debut appearance at the 3Arena in Dublin as part of his 'Illuminate' World Tour on the 30th May 2017. Shawn Peter Raul Mendes (born August 8, 1998) is a Canadian singer-songwriter. He attracted a following in 2013, when he began posting song covers on the video sharing application Vine. The following year, he caught the attention of artist managers Andrew Gertler and Island Records A&R Ziggy Chareton, which led to him signing a deal with the record label. Mendes went on to release an EP and his debut studio album Handwritten, whose single "Stitches" reached the top 10 in the US and Canada, and number one in the UK. His sophomore album, Illuminate (2016), was preceded by the single "Treat You Better". Both albums debuted atop the US Billboard 200.

He has received a total of 10 Golden Globe nominations, 10 Grammy nominations, and nine Oscar nominations, the most recent for Christopher Nolan’s Inception. His innovative and powerful score has been praised as the Best Score of 2010 by countless critics’ groups and has earned him BAFTA, Golden Globe, Grammy and Critics Choice Award nominations. His other Oscar nominations include Sherlock Holmes, Rain Man, Gladiator, The Lion King, As Good As It Gets, The Preacher’s Wife, The Thin Red Line and The Prince of Egypt.

Fresh from a run of hugely successful South American shows, Aerosmith will return across the Atlantic with one of the greatest rock shows ever seen and will undoubtedly be the ultimate must see event of 2017 as the band embark upon this, their ‘farewell’ tour, saying “Aero-Vederci Baby!”. They will rock for the last time in Dublin City on the 14th June 2017. Radiohead

20th June 2017
Radiohead have announced their return to Ireland with a date at 3Arena, Dublin on June 20th, 2017. 
One of Britain's most popular alternative bands, Radiohead were formed in Oxford in 1989.
Their debut album Pablo Honey contained the smash hit Creep, which became their live anthem. 
Follow-up albums The Bends and OK Computer were hugely successful, making the band the most popular British rock band at the time.
The recent records Kid A, Amnesiac and Hail to the Thief have taken a more experimental note, showcasing the band's versatility while maintaining the classic Radiohead sound.

Green Day 2017

29th June 2017
Punk band Green Day are set to give fans the time of their lives when they return to Dublin next year.
Bringing their signature blend of Punk Rock and anti-political lyrics, the group will take to the stage at Royal Hospital Kilmainham on June 29 with special guests Rancid.
Their tour comes after the warm critical reception of their 12th album, Revolution Radio, which debuted at number 1 in Ireland.
Green Day composed of vocalist/guitarist Billie Joe Armstrong, bassist Mike Dirnt, and drummer Tré Cool. formed in 1986.
The band's early releases were with the independent record label Lookout! Records. In 1994, its major label debut Dookie (released through Reprise Records) became a breakout success and eventually sold over 10 million copies in the United States.

Kraftwerk

2nd & 3rd June 2017
On the 2nd June, the Electro pioneers come to the Bord Gais Energy Theatre for 2 nights.
Kraftwerk was originally started in 1970 by Ralf Hütter and Florian Schneider. They set up their electronic Kling Klang Studio in Dusseldorf, Germany, where they conceived and produced all of the Kraftwerk albums.
By the mid 1970’s Kraftwerk had achieved international recognition for their revolutionary electronic sound scapes’ and their musical experimentation with robotics and other technical innovations.
Their compositions, using innovative techniques, synthetic voices and computerized rhythms, have had a major international influence across an entire range of music genres: from Electro to Hip Hop, from Techno to Synth-Pop.
In their live performances, Kraftwerk  illustrate their belief in the respective contributions of both man and machine.
Starting with the retrospective of their Catalogue at the Museum of Modern Art in New York in 2012, in recent years Kraftwerk have returned full circle back to their origins within the Dusseldorf art scene of the late Sixties.
Their concert promises to be a unique exploration of the music that inspired countless other genres from the 70's right up tot he modern era.

The Australian Pink Floyd Tour is back with a bang in the 3Arena on the 27th September. Having sold over 4 million tickets in 35 countries, The Australian Pink Floyd Show is rightfully hailed as one of the leading concert performances currently operating; The Times described them as “The Gold Standard”.   

This act is so good they were even engaged by David Gilmour to perform at his 50th birthday celebration!
Forming in 1988, the band began their venture as a part of the wave of Australian tribute bands that included Bjorn Again and The Australian Doors to arrive in the UK in the early 1990s. In 1993, The Australian Pink Floyd Show performed at the first international Pink Floyd fan convention organised in conjunction with ‘Brain Damage’, the Pink Floyd fan magazine, at Wembley Convention Centre. Throughout the 1990s, the band played predominately in the UK, gradually refining their show and developing a solid reputation on the live music circuit.

John Bishop - "Winging It...

6 - 7th October 2017
John Bishop has announced his long awaited return to stand-up comedy, with his brand new live show, Winging It.
See John Bishop live in the 3Arena on the 6 - 7th October 2017.
On announcing Winging It, John said: "When I start this new tour, it will be three years since my last live show Supersonic, which is the longest break I've ever had.  I'm very much looking forward to getting back on the road - there really is nothing like performing stand-up in front of a live audience.  The new show is called Winging It, and in some respects having come to comedy relatively late, it sometimes feels like that’s what I'm doing in life!  But I'm enjoying every minute of it."

Jules Holland

14th October 2017
Jools Holland and his Rhythm and Blues Orchestra, featuring Gilson Lavis on drums, return this autumn on the 14th October, with the party that never stops.

The show promises to deliver the ultimate party atmosphere, as always, which over the past years has seen Jools Holland perform to a staggering 4 million people, with the show becoming an annual must-see event for fans around the country.
The success of the live show's atmosphere inspired Jools' last album 'The Informer', the title track of which, with vocals by Ruby Turner, became one of the most-played records on Radio 2, as was ‘I Went By featuring Louise Marshall. Ruby and Louise return once again as guest vocalists alongside superstar ska trombonist Rico Rodriguez to create an evening of the boogiest sounds around.

Little Mix 2017 Tour

6th November 2017
After the announcement of their eagerly awaited album 'Glory Days' Little Mix return to the 3Arena on the 6th November 2017. 
Little Mix have been seducing fans (called Mixers) to fall under their spell with every note they sing. A stunningly beautiful foursome, they’ve been winning hearts ever since they won the eighth season of the British TV music competition The X Factor in 2011.

Jade, Jesy, Perrie and Leigh-Ann’s debut single, a rendition of Damien Rice’s Cannonball, went to the top of the British and Irish singles charts in its first week. Their first album, DNA, became the highest UK-charting debut album by a British female band ever. Little Mix have offered up two more albums – Salute in 2013 and Get Weird in 2015 – which have both both hugely successful.
The world’s biggest girl group have announced an arena tour for autumn 2017 as well as a new album and single coming soon.
