Ennio Morricone

23rd September

This event will take place in The 3Arena

The Oscar and Grammy Award winner will conduct a one hundred piece Orchestra with Soloists plus a choir of seventy five voices. Ennio Morricone has composed over 500 scores for cinema and television as well as over 100 absolute music works and is the only film composer in history to have received the honorary Academy Award for his lifetime achievement. This tour will mark the 60th anniversary for Ennio of being a professional conductor and composer.

Australian Pink Floyd Tou...

The Australian Pink Floyd Tour is back with a bang in the 3Arena on the 27th September. Having sold over 4 million tickets in 35 countries, The Australian Pink Floyd Show is rightfully hailed as one of the leading concert performances currently operating; The Times described them as “The Gold Standard”.   

This act is so good they were even engaged by David Gilmour to perform at his 50th birthday celebration!
Forming in 1988, the band began their venture as a part of the wave of Australian tribute bands that included Bjorn Again and The Australian Doors to arrive in the UK in the early 1990s. In 1993, The Australian Pink Floyd Show performed at the first international Pink Floyd fan convention organised in conjunction with ‘Brain Damage’, the Pink Floyd fan magazine, at Wembley Convention Centre. Throughout the 1990s, the band played predominately in the UK, gradually refining their show and developing a solid reputation on the live music circuit.

John Bishop - "Winging It...

John Bishop has announced his long awaited return to stand-up comedy, with his brand new live show, Winging It.

On announcing Winging It, John said: "When I start this new tour, it will be three years since my last live show Supersonic, which is the longest break I've ever had.  I'm very much looking forward to getting back on the road - there really is nothing like performing stand-up in front of a live audience.  The new show is called Winging It, and in some respects having come to comedy relatively late, it sometimes feels like that’s what I'm doing in life!  But I'm enjoying every minute of it."

Jules Holland

Jools Holland and his Rhythm and Blues Orchestra, featuring Gilson Lavis on drums, return this autumn on the 14th October, with the party that never stops.

The show promises to deliver the ultimate party atmosphere, as always, which over the past years has seen Jools Holland perform to a staggering 4 million people, with the show becoming an annual must-see event for fans around the country.
The success of the live show's atmosphere inspired Jools' last album 'The Informer', the title track of which, with vocals by Ruby Turner, became one of the most-played records on Radio 2, as was ‘I Went By featuring Louise Marshall. Ruby and Louise return once again as guest vocalists alongside superstar ska trombonist Rico Rodriguez to create an evening of the boogiest sounds around.

Alison Moyet

28th October

Alison Moyet is an English singer, songwriter and performer known for her bluesy contralto voice. She became known while she was the other half of the duo Yazoo, but has since mainly worked on her own and being asolo artist.

She brings her new album "Other" on tour and is coming here to Ireland to The Olympia Theatre.

Enjoy the smoky sound of jazz at the National Concert Hall with this edition of RTÉ Concert Orchestra’s Signature Series, which will see Stacy Kent take to the stage accompanied by a big band.
Her understanding of jazz’s complexities has made her a favourite artist of novelist Kazuo Ishiguro, who has written lyrics for her, and seen her honoured by the BBC and Ordre des Arts et des Lettres.

Newton Faulkner is an English singer-songwriter and musician from Reigate, Surrey. He is known for his percussive style of guitar playing.

George Frideric Handel's debut of the Messiah burst onto the stage of the Musick Hall in Dublin on April 13, 1742.
275 years later, the 130-voice Dublin County Choir will perform this magnificient composition in Whitefriar Street Church.
This concert will continue the tradition of performances of Handel's Messiah in Dublin. It will feature Sylvia O'Brien, Cliona McDonough, Eoin Hynes and Jeffrey Ledwidge four celebrated Irish soloists and it promises to be equally rousing, uplifiting and soothing. The choir and Dublin Sinfionetta Orchestra will be conducted by Colin Block.

Imelda May

Imelda May, born and raised in The Liberties area of Dublin, has become one of Ireland’s most celebrated female artists in history. Dublin Gospel Choir

2nd December
The choir, which is hands down one of Dublin’s funkiest, has a Christmas album fresh off the press, so they’ll be performing lots of highlights live.

Russell Watson

Russell’s got a voice that has won over the hearts of former US Presidents, the Queen of England and Pope John Paul II, while also winning awards and breaking records on the UK charts.

Vladimir arrived in Ireland from Slovakia 10 years ago. Originally only planning to stay in Ireland for a few months; he soon found work and money hard to come by. Having little English, he quickly decided to let his music do the talking and started busking on Grafton Street. Getting a taste for live performance, he formed the Slovak Festival Quartet in 2006 with some friends.
Relax in the gorgeous auditorium and hear Vladimir, accompanied by soprano Claudia Boyle, tenor Sean Constello and the Jablokov family, perform favourite Christmas sounds like In Dulci Jubilo, Ave Maria, and O Holy Night.

Little Mix 2017 Tour

After the announcement of their eagerly awaited album 'Glory Days' Little Mix return to the 3Arena on the 6th November 2017. 
Little Mix have been seducing fans (called Mixers) to fall under their spell with every note they sing. A stunningly beautiful foursome, they’ve been winning hearts ever since they won the eighth season of the British TV music competition The X Factor in 2011.

Jade, Jesy, Perrie and Leigh-Ann’s debut single, a rendition of Damien Rice’s Cannonball, went to the top of the British and Irish singles charts in its first week. Their first album, DNA, became the highest UK-charting debut album by a British female band ever. Little Mix have offered up two more albums – Salute in 2013 and Get Weird in 2015 – which have both both hugely successful.
The world’s biggest girl group have announced an arena tour for autumn 2017 as well as a new album and single coming soon.

Queen and Adam Lambert

This new tour being embarked on will in part comemorate the 40th anniversary of Queen's biggest selling studio album to date "News of the World" which was released in 1977. This album brought us uch classics as "We Will Rock You" and "We Are The Champions". Along with the hits that are surely to be played, some new and interesting songs that have been made. Lambert says he is looking forward to the challenge of "digging deeper" to get the range of the classics. This show is set out to be an incredible experience with spectacular visual lighting displays. Since first sharing the stage for the American Idol final in May 2009, Queen + Adam Lambert have proved to be a hugely successful global partnership, having now played more than 90 shows in every corner of the world. In summer 2012 they played their first full live shows across Europe, making their spectacular official debut in front of half a million people in Kiev.
